Every year I am watching I MARRIED A WITCH (1942) - and I love SULLIVAN'S TRAVELS (1941), THIS GUN FOR HIRE (1942)- and so many more of her films..

Maybe a small lady - but you immediatly know that she is there!

And surely I can hardly wait to read her biography

PEEKABOO - THE STORY OF VERONICA LAKE

- which is waiting for me on my to read pile.. I will tell you about it then..

Happy Birthday Veronica! I got home yesterday in time to watch I Married A Witch on TCM. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the book Peekaboo.
